Donations

Now that Fish Mainland is a reality, all Members and non-members alike are encouraged to donate funds that are necessary for its day-to-day operations.

Financial Members are particularly encouraged to donate because of the potential value of promoting Membership to the public.

Your donations will be used to unify recreational fishers’ voice in decision making processes and restore and sustain fisheries resources to maximise fishing experiences and opportunities. 

Your donations are particularly important now and until the South Island Working Group and Government agree on the best way to secure, long-term funding for Fish Mainland.

At this early stage, Fish Mainland cannot be possible without your commitment and financial contributions.

Fish Mainland Inc has applied to Charities Services (Department of Internal Affairs) to be registered as a charitable entity under the Charities Act 2005. If granted, Fish Mainland will apply to the Inland Revenue Department for recognition as a donee organisation. If granted, you will be able to claim a tax credit of one-third of your donations.
